THE APPROACH
Understanding how the anxiety cycle keeps going.
When uncertainty appears, the mind may predict danger, search for evidence, overthink, avoid, check or seek reassurance. These responses can bring short-term relief, but they may also reinforce the belief that uncertainty is dangerous and must be controlled. Strategic Psychotherapy focuses on recognising the cycle as it operates now and changing the responses that keep it active.

A focused process for change
Strategic Psychotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP techniques work together to help you recognise the pattern, interrupt familiar automatic responses and practise a more useful way forward. The work is collaborative, practical and tailored to your goals.
THE PATTERN UNDER THE PROBLEM
Different problems. Familiar patterns underneath.
The surface issue may differ, but the work looks for what keeps the problem going: what the mind is trying to solve, what brings short-term relief and what then reinforces the pattern.
Intolerance of uncertainty
When something is unresolved, the mind can feel compelled to predict, analyse, check, research or seek reassurance before acting.
Negative expectancy
When the outcome is unknown, the mind may fill the gap with what could go wrong. The predicted event may never happen, but attention and energy are still spent responding to it.
Low self-trust
Often the fear is not only what might happen, but whether you can handle it if it does. Therapy can help strengthen trust in your capacity to respond.
The goal is not certainty. It is self-trust.
